The 2026 U8 Spring Developmental Team is an opportunity for players born in 2018 and 2019 to prepare for Competitive Elite - Level II tryouts that take place in May. The program will be staffed by our professional trainers and focus on individual technical skills in a team setting. External players cannot tryout for a U8 Spring Developmental Team. Players must have played for Mustang during the 2025 Fall Season.

Players who tryout but are not selected for a team are encouraged to participate in our Spring Juniors program. Please register for Spring Juniors prior to trying out for a U8 Dev Team to ensure you have a space reserved. Spring Juniors fills up within minutes of registration opening.

General Information

There will be 1-2 Boys teams and 1-2 Girls teams.

Families will receive a call as to whether their child made a team or not by February 28.

Trainings will take place with a professional Mustang trainer two times per week with two NorCal Premier play dates.

Refund Policy

Any player who has accepted their invite to join a team will not receive a refund. Any player who is ill or injured and provides a doctor's note will receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the program.
